Jessie Towne-Cardenas, M.A.
Co-Founder, Arboreta Group
Jessie Towne-Cardenas is a believer in the power of ideas. As a trainer, facilitator, and curriculum developer, she is known for breaking things down and organizing them in a way that is easy to understand and practical to apply. Her capacity to look at a problem from unusual angles is sought after in work groups and strategy sessions.
As a co-founder of Arboreta Group, Jessie works to ensure that everything she builds includes both current best practices and practical steps toward application. She holds a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from California State University, Chico.
She has spent over 25 years in the nonprofit sector navigating the relationships between nonprofits, government agencies, and communities as they work together through training, strategic planning, program development, grant writing, and evaluation. That work built deep skills in relationship building, group facilitation, and navigating the difficult conversations that bring out the best in teams.
